GOLGATA emerged from the dark forests of southern Sweden in 2014. However, the story goes back even further. The duo wrote their first melodies full of misery back in 1994. After 20 years, these lost souls found each other again to devote themselves to the music that would become Golgata. The music is inspired by the history and nature of the region of Sweden where the duo comes from. The lyrics are again in Swedish. With the author's poetic touch, they tell stories about how to survive the grim reality of life. Golgata is not afraid to put the deepest thoughts into words and music and explore the darkest corners of the soul. The project presents you with another melodic dark album. The band moves freely between aggressive guitars, growls, and clear vocals, as well as melodies that result in a unique blend of black and doom metal. With their wide range of sounds, they are now back with their most polished album yet... For fans of Grift, Windir, and Istapp.
