"Who’s a siwwy biwd? Awe you a siwwy bird? Are you? Yes, you are! Such a silly birdie!”

The baby talk was so over the top, so genuine, that Spoons must not have been aware of Gage walking in. Spoons was laying on her belly on the bed, kicking her legs and gushing sugary-sweet talk at the yellow bird bouncing in front of her. 

Her wings, while made technically from ‘human’ flesh and hair, both looked and felt real butterfly wings magnified by a few hundred times while the musculature was made to mimic the insect’s wing structure. She even kept them constantly powdered. (No sorry, Spoons does not actually make fairy dust. She just hides glitter in her pockets sometimes.)
