Reason I say this is because last year I literally just left after the fall semester... I just got my stuff and left. So I took a year off almost (prior to that, I took a year off after I graduated high school in 2014) and I was just soul searching, but at the same time my household wasn't healthy. I stay with my mom and her boyfriend and they are just not meant to be. It's always something every other day. So living with their drama, plus me trying to figure out who I am and being jobless again for almost a year was pretty frustrating and depressing for me. I just turned 21 and I think my wake up call was seeing my best friend, who's 19, has her own car, job, apartment and is a junior in college, outgrow me. She wants to be a lawyer and in hopes of going to law school and furthering her career in California. I couldn't be any more proud of her. ----> Getting off subject though, my plan is to go back with a mature mindset this time. Get a job maybe two because I'm in debt, save up to get my first car and hopefully have my own apartment later 2017. I want to get into nursing and become a nurse practitioner but in the pediatric field because I work well with kids. Anything that involves children I feel comfortable with. So yeah I have high hopes that I will do my absolute best and even though I will be starting college late again it's totally okay because I know that I'm not the only one in this position. Sorry for my long paragraph rant on trying to get my life together 😅 but I just wanted someone who's out there in the same predicament as me to know that you're not alone in this.
