#going downhill

Yuuri quickly made his way to his apartment to go see Viktor. He has a smile plastered on his face, and his pace is quick and rather rushed. He has the strap of his sports bag secured over one shoulder, and in one of his hand, he is holding something a particular magazine that he had just bought from a local convenience store. 

As soon as he reaches the building, and walks into the elevator, his smile only grows at the thought of seeing Viktor’s reaction of the magazine. He is sure that the man is going to love it. 

As the elevator goes up, Yuuri taps his shoe on the flooring of the elevator in impatience, and when the doors finally open after reaching his floor, he rushes out and quickly makes his way to the front door. Upon opening, he finds Viktor and Makkachin on their usual spot on the couch, with Makkachin curled up against Viktor. Though as soon as Yuuri enters, the dog looks up and quickly jumps off the couch to make his way over to Yuuri. He barks excitedly, and Yuuri ruffles his curly fur. “Hey Makka! There’s a good boy! Who’s a good boy? That’s right, it’s you!” Yuuri grins at the dog as he sits down on his haunches to greet him. He ears a few licks on his face. 

Yuuri then gets back up and looks at Viktor, making his way over to him to give him a quick kiss on his cheek. “Hey,” he greets him, before his anticipating smile returns and he keeps the magazine behind his back. “I got you something!” 

Yuuri then shows Viktor the magazine, and holds it up as his smile transforms into a happy grin. The word “WEDDING” is spelled out in large, colourful letters on the cover, an it shows a scene of a large, beautiful wedding ceremony in a flowery park. “It’s a magazine for weddings! It was for sale at the convenience store around the corner, and I thought that it might be handy to have one of these. I mean... I know that we haven’t really made plans for our wedding yet... But maybe we can already start looking for ideas, or inspiration of what we might want?” 

Yuuri holds out the magazine for Viktor to take a look at it, and sits down on the couch next to him. “Don’t worry, I’ll just let you most of the choosing. You have a lot more sense of style than I do.”
