aamukaste:morning dew.
The gleamingcrystals kiss the leaves and flowers awake.                        Beads basking in the vivid light and heat of the morning sun.                                     In the summerâs end.
Thereâs a thunder that sits beneath her chest. She hadthis one before, a good kind. Athunder that youâd love to watch on a night by the window, letting the noiseengulf the silence. But this thunder inside her right now is wrecking throughthe entirety of her body. A ray of a new day sliced through her slumber, the curtains of her eyelids slowly opened to a reality that has been masked bythe night prior.
A reality thatceased to matter in a fleeting moment of a bliss â one fed by alcohol, tensionand the raging emotions which have been bottled up for a long time.
You donât bottle up your feelings because once a crackforms, it will surely explode.
   Oh how they did.
When his face emerged into her vision, a lightningstruck inside her, finest of hair arose, hands instinctively grasping tightlyto the white sheets that prevented the nightâs cold to seep into her bare skin.Thereâs no need to look underneath. She could see his wide shoulders bare in his proximity, shecould feel the draft of the air conditioner sift through her exposed skin â shecould feel her own body freeze in disbelief.
He is still unaware. Eyelashes fluttering in a dream, oblivious to the storm they had bothbrewed together.
Why me, Joowonah?Silence.
Itâs you. Noreason. Just you.Silence.
People always told her that sheâs nice, that she may bethe nicest person theyâd ever met, because of her genuine smiles, because ofhow she views people, how she sees the good in them, how she makes sure toextract happiness for them. What was all these niceness for? Itâs not true.
Youâre cruel.    You left him atthe edge of the cliff.    You went back tohim. You faced him at that same cliff.    And when his handsreached for you, you pushed him.
No. IndeedI pushed him, but I followed him after.
   See how youâredoomed?
The vapors of their emotions were to be blamed. Theycoalesce into dew - mystical opaque beads formed on a night when temperaturesof opposite ranges meets. An earthly presence. Almost real.
   An ephemeralgrace.
What am I to you?
I havenât foundthe answer yet.
Let me show you.
She thought she already knew. Nothing ever comes good withalcohol. Why havenât you learned yourlesson?   Thereâs a shadow of the coolness that stands still. He gleefully removed that chill.   At the expense ofwhat?   Â
What have you done, Haebitna?    I donât know! I donâtknow⊠I just⊠donât know anymore!
But I think Ialready know my answer.
She looks at him, thelast time she could look at his face without all the guilt swimming and drowningher. Itâs easy to take advantage of people; she never intended to, but now sheâstaking advantage of his unconsciousness, of the oblivion provided to him bysleep, of the naivety and the rawness of his affections that she could not fitinto her heart, of the kindness and concern that he had given her â she took them all tofill her in. She takes his affections but could never return the same. Sheâdgive him love, always. But not the one he seeks from her.
Let me takeadvantage of that pure love, one last time.
Itâs selfish.
I know.
   Youâre cruel,Haebitna.
âIâm sorry.â Ahushed whisper through gritted teeth, choking on her whimpers when the realitysettles into her, and the dew returns into vapor as the morning has precededpast dawn.
Morning dew. Pearls of the morning sun. Scattered in ashimmering arc until they grew so heavy.
Dew drops on her cheeks. Dew drops on her skin. Untilit evaporates from the heat of her body.
   Letâs forget allof these.
          @goghjoo called for a starter !
â âDavid had a while ago found out about his parents divorce. He remembered the day bright as day when they told about it towards him. It broke his heart. He still wasnât sure how to think of it a couple months later. It still hurt. Family is one thing that is the most important to him. Without his parentâs he wouldnt know what to do. He was lost and confused. These days it was hard for him to trust people. Even because of the recent break up he had gone through. Things didnt really add up.Â
He was sitting in his livingroom on his couch watching his favourite tv show called Ghost Adventures. When he got a text message from his mother whoâm he had not seen in a while because of hiding from everyone in over a week not wanting to see anyone. She was coming over for lunch. He felt nervous. He knew there was something important she had to tell him. Something about the divorce. Â
@goghjooâ // â you ought to be asleep. âÂ
âbut youâre not listening!â he raised his voice, didnât feel bothered to correct himself. joowon turned to another page and pressed the phone more against the side of his face. settling on his bed with pillow pressed on the headboard, a paperback book on his knees, and a two am uninvited phone call to complain about a fictional character, joowon was too adamant in the wrong time and place. âthis Holden guy, seriously, is the most annoying character Iâve ever known!â
Taeil expells a loud, pointed yawn, leaning his cheek against the reciever and pulling the covers higher over himself and the witch, who was sleeping deep and uninterrupted beside him. It was nice that his burn let him share the bed even when heâd yet to revert back to his default form as a very lazy black cat. âUnless itâs a spellbook, itâs probably useless - and if the character is irksome, why not toss it aside in favor of a little rest? what book are you reading anyway?âÂ

@goghjoo //  â It's hard to connect with someone when all they do is push you away. âÂ
Leaning against the cold metal bar of the riversideâs fence, Joowon looked down to the reflective water surface below, as he heard Taeil speaking. He saw himself in those words. They rippled a weird feelings in his stomach. He wished the defense inside which was about to burst wouldnât come to the surface. so he forced a smile, and exchanged a look to the male next to him. âthatâs true, it seems,â he muttered, playing innocent. He denied as one of those people who disconnected himself from his surroundings when things didnât go according to his liking. Joowon hated facing the truth. He hated being an open book. âSome people are just too scared to open up. Itâs likeâŠstripping themselves naked.â
âThatâs a strange analogy,â Taeil smiled in understanding. The other man didnât need to say he pushed people away, most people did, and people who did that were often prepared to feebly defend the act. But the familiar was never an unkind creature, even forced to do the bidding of very evil witches and magicians. âA lot of people are perfectly comfortable with nudity, but not with emotional closeness.âÂ
Taeil was comfortable with both.Â

ă â» ă   GODS, HE SAYS. And for a moment, Sangcheol, or the reincarnation of Poseidon, the god of the sea, feels his stomach lurch. Had he been found out ? He swore to a life of secrecy when he found out his true nature, not to speak of who he was and what attributes were unlocked along with memories of who he was. Or perhaps he was thinking far too much and this was just some philosophical spout. Inquiry was necessary if he wanted to find the real answers. Be natural, he reminds himself. An idle hand extends upwards to allow slender digits to card through locks of orange. All the while, heâs taking in air and expels it back out from his lungs. â  Mm, do you believe there is more than just one god or celestial entity then ?  â Slowly, dark orbs of brown pan over towards the other maleâs face, studying those features carefully. The hand that had busied itself with running fingers through soft locks was not dropped back by his side, dangling limply against the seam of his torn, black jeans.Â
