❝     alice  put  the  whole  thing  together.     ❞     she’s  smiling  slightly,  which  is  more  than  rosalie  can  say  for  herself  most  days.  despite  her  qualms  with  the  entire  situation  at  hand,  it  is  a  special  occasion  for  their  family.  that  aside  ,  it’s  nice  to  see  kate  and  the  rest  of  their  extended  family,  too.     ❝     but  it  looks  quite  nice,  doesn’t  it?     ❞     she  already  figures  that  alice  will be  glad  to  have  had  so  many  admiring  her  design  choices.     ❝     it’s  been  some  time.  how  are  you?     ❞

she  glances  around  the  room,  weary  of  her  sister’s  impending  explanation        despite  the  fact  that  she  knows  how  common  these  .  .  .  creative  endeavors  of  sorts  are  for  alice.  suppressing  a  sigh  but  wearing  a  very  slight  smile,  rosalie  prompts:     ❝     do  i  even  want  to  know?     ❞

❝      enlighten  me,    why  does  easter  have  to  be  𝙨𝙪𝙘𝙝  𝙖𝙣  𝙖𝙨𝙨 ?    i  mean  seriously,    he  walks  in  and  his  𝖤𝖦𝖮  somehow  sucks  all  the  oxygen  outta  the  place.      ❞      alex  tosses  her  pen  onto  the  table  as  the  sound  of  the  door  to  the  briefing  room  shuts  behind  clyde.    alex  chose  to  deal  with  her  𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠  𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧  for  their  next  assignment  by  𝕕𝕖𝕗𝕝𝕖𝕔𝕥𝕚𝕟𝕘  with  short  𝗊𝗎𝗂𝗉𝗌  𝖺𝗇𝖽  𝖽𝗂𝗀𝗌  at  their  designated  team  leader.    exhausted  sigh  escapes  her  lips,    a  subtle  shake  of  caramel  waves  as  she  stares  at  all  of  the  files  spread  on  the  table  in  front  of  them.    ❝      you  still  𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲  about  all  this?    you  ready  to  become  uh    ━━    ❞    there’s  a  pause  as  she  flips  back  open  one  of  the  files  clyde  had  just  given  them.    ❝      𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐧.    ❞
