Dear Diary
Someone at some point had suggested to Ardyn that he take to writing his thoughts and feelings down in a book. A stupid idea. Heโd given it a shot. An honest shot. That book had burned faster than Ifrit attacking Solheim. His original intent had been to go to the one who had made his suggestion in the first place. But as he was walking down the hall, heโd spotted MT Prompto.
Deciding to pay the boy a compliment on a job well down from his mission the day prior, his detour took him to the boyโs favorite breakroom. However, after the boy had punched him in the face and shoved him out of the way, he decided to complain to Verstael about how his son couldnโt control himself.
The walk to Verstaelโs lab had been short. The glance around the area told him exactly where the man was. The blond had looked in his general direction upon the footsteps.ย
โDear Diary,โ Began the Chancellor as he readjusted his sleeves, โLife certainly seems to be trying my patience lately.โ The man had gotten rather close to the scientist now, barely inches apart. โMy dear sweet baby doll has decided to act out. I canโt imagine why he might have done that.โ His hands were on the manโs shoulders, shoving him up against the wall. โPerhaps heโs just having his own form of a teenage rebellion.โ Leaning in closer still, lips hovering over the manโs ear, voice barely above a whisper,ย โIโm trying to give him the benefit of the doubt, but . . . Whatโs a man to do?โ
// @godlike-creator Because you seemed to react to my previous ask so much. Hereโs an extended version.
