Thank you @thisiscornelius ! Speaks volumes. I was going through a really hard time with depression the last few weeks & felt like taking my life. I don’t talk much about it & didn’t share because of Shame or feeling that embarrassment that often comes from suffering from Depression. I was ready for God to take me because the pain was so deep. I cried out to God many times. We often times can find “all the scriptures” in the world to try to negate the things we are going through but at that time, it seemed nothing was helping me. I’m a joyful person by nature but life’s pains & trauma seemed to be more unbearable the more I kept pressing into God. It felt like everything around me was crashing in & I became so negative. I’m grateful for @joycemeyer following God by writing The Battlefield of the Mind book cause it started to put my thoughts 💭 back into GOD’S PERSEPE TIVE. Thank YOU everyone that prayed for me. This post is REAL. If you are suffering from depression, you are NOT alone. God is with you. Reach out to a Crisis Line (I did) call someone to talk to them but most of all, keep praying. YOUR LIFE IS NOT IN VAIN. Death is not the way out. LIFE IS SUPPOSED TO BE LIVED & ABUNDANT. Love God, Love People, & Live !
