पंचमहल जिले के देलोल गांव में 2002 में अल्पसंख्यक समुदाय

वडोदरा: पंचमहल जिले के देलोल गांव में 2002 में अल्पसंख्यक समुदाय के 17 लोगों की हत्या के आरोपी 22 विचाराधीन कैदियों को मंगलवार को हलोल की अतिरिक्त सत्र अदालत ने सबूतों के अभाव में बरी कर दिया.

22 में से आठ अभियुक्तों की 18 साल की सुनवाई के दौरान मौत हो गई थी।

कलोल में एक पुलिस वाले पर पीड़ितों और गवाहों के अनुरोध

सभी आरोपियों का प्रतिनिधित्व करने वाले अधिवक्ता गोपालसिंह सोलंकी ने कहा, 'अदालत ने पीड़ितों की हड्डियों सहित सभी सबूतों की जांच की, लेकिन यह फोरेंसिक परीक्षणों में अनिर्णायक था।'

2003 में फिर से जांच का आदेश दिया गया क्योंकि पुलिस जांच जांच के दायरे में आई। इसके अलावा, 100 से अधिक गवाहों की जांच की गई, जिनमें से कई पक्षद्रोही हो गए, 'सोलंकी ने कहा।
