persephone was more aware of what happened on earth than others gave her credit for. yes, she was in the underworld for much of the year-- but she kept tabs. and hearing of helen’s legacy, the goddess couldn’t help but feel her heart tug for her. to have that kind of tie to one’s name was not a reputation anyone should bear. “helen,” persephone said, her voice gentle. 

Oh, how she hates the emotions in which he stirs within her. The part that still desperately clings to humanity wants to despise him, yet the part of her that is corrupted and unloved by God feels a desire to be near him, to hold his attention if for only a few moments. 

For the briefest of moments, a memory flashes back to the sharing of a crypt on the oceanic trip to his homeland as she stands before him and if she held it within her, she’d be blushing at the thought. There had been a pull within her to reach out to the man -- the monster -- that had taken her from her human life, that had stolen her life from her before wedding vows could be exchanged. Yet she desperately tries to ignore such a pull as she finds him within the dining hall.

His path into the way of the Sith had been a bloody one. He’d destroyed lives, any that were in his way, every youngling in the temple... or almost every youngling. When he’d heard the name, it had caught his interest. Most probably would not know it as one of any importance-- after all, most Jedi had been killed, almost every one in the temple that day...
