From April 3rd I felt led to physically go out and meet with God. To go out on a #goddate. The first one was an utter fail. No, I take that back. It didnāt start off the way God wanted it because I wasnāt paying attention but He quickly changed that! He proved His point and the lesson was learned. Since then, Iāve been getting so much better at listening, at trusting Jesus, and standing on the fact that the Holy Spirit lives inside of me and that there is a direct, real contact, a connection, and that if we just pay attention we all can hear from God. God is real and He shows up in huge ways if you just make time for whim. Each date that weāve been on so far has been amazing! I end up at places that are either new to me or I see it with new eyes. But the best part of it is, is that thereās always a defined lesson that correlates directly to His Word. I donāt know how to explain it but itās just not possible for me to orchestrate the place, the environment, the weather to the message that I receive. I love our time together! I look forward to it every week!! The part that causes me to hesitate is that what I learn isnāt just for me. God doesnāt give us gifts just so that we can keep them for ourselves. Itās meant for us to multiply it as @johnbevere says in his book X, Multiply Your God Given Potential. So I need to share it. I need others to hear it, receive it and have their own #goddates. So what Iām going to do is that if youāve read this far then that means youāre interested and āGod Datesā are something that you may be called to do also.
