Taylor, I have been such a fan since you first came on the scene. I was at your first ever stadium show in 2010, which was also the same night that I graduated high school, I was at the RAIN SHOW, and then you brought Carly Simon out for us, when you sang classic to us with MKTO, and I CANNOT WAIT to see what you have in store for us for the reputation tour. I’ve heard rumors there’s aerial acts, I’M SO EXCITED FOR JULY!!!!!!!! Hopefully by then I’ll have gotten my fearless tattoo. 

I’ve always related to your music. When I was in middle school and high school, your songs about not fitting in and being alone rang true for me. I had a few friends but I was shunned by the popular kids of my later grade school years. Maybe it was because I lived in a foster home, maybe it was because I didn’t have the stylish clothes. You clung to music, I clung to books. I actually recently discovered I think I wanna write books. 

When I was in high school I had my first boyfriend. He was a dud. He also took my heart and shattered it on the ground, and then stomped on it afterwards. But thats that. White Horse and All Too Well and Forever and Always and Should’ve Said No and Picture to Burn took care of that. 

One of the things that I’ve always been envious of is the relationship you have with your mother. Unfortunately, that is something I will never get to have. And I’m not gonna sugarcoat it, because it sucks, it really does. But listening to your music helps with that. Your music helps me realize that its okay to sometimes cry on your bathroom floor and to feel sad; but on the flipside, it’s also fun to dance like it’s 1989 in your living room using the tv remote as a microphone. 

I hope you remember to be fearless, I hope you remember to speak now, I hope that you never forget to dance like it’s 1989, and I hope you never let other people ruin your reputation, as that is only something that you can define.
