I had never even heard of Goblin State Park until Lisa pointed it out. This last minute detour and camp stop made us feel like the luckiest ladies alive.
We had a plan b for a camping site, but Goblin even had showers!! But did we use them... NO! Dirty girls!! Â We got there late and were up again before sunrise to take a look around. We reached a look out over the Goblins and then we saw STAIRS! Like you can walk among the Goblins! The sun had yet to break over the rocks, but the sky was already illuminating electric blue. Super weird, super fun and as soon as the sun started to hit the ground floor it was getting hot!! Floor is lava for sure!
We had no idea what we were getting into and we really should have done milky way shots here... next time.
