Two of my bikes ..Thick n Thin I call them Adesola is my mecho from the days when we had to fabricate and work parts He has since turned into my friend and brother So when on my way back into town I saw him struggling with a flat tyre on "thin" a few kilometers out of ibadan and I was on my way in on "thick" It was the most natural thing for us to swap bikes and he continue outward on "thick" and I wait have the tyre sorted and head home on "thin" I feel sorry for those that are yet to experience the freedom from the desire to "possess" material things and those yet to experience true brotherhood devoid of blood ties I can't lie ! Still on this lawn matter ...the grass IS growing .. My pair of glasses for night driving ! Have not used it in a while and so it came apart at the hinge ...me I know get problem ..super glue or rubber band or even cellotape will do the job ..not even a new trick been doing this since I was 10- 11 and my glasses broke ..to avoid wahala at home I will patch my thing and wear What that did for me overtime was to instill a self confidence that is not attached to any material thing ..not designer clothes not cars not even bikes that i love so much, and so I lost the capacity for external validation to the eternal dismay of my Old folks and embarrassment of my sibs.. I no just send! and for that my smile has been deeper ..eyes merrier ..gait straighter and joy unhitched from any circumstance.. I gathered liver ..and bought roasted corn ..I had it all mapped out ..straight off the fire after moi and none other and flipped severally over the hot coal ..nope!
