Had another library day today, read the first half of Squire which I'm really enjoying! Then I finished Shook a Black horror anthology, and read Criminal volume 2 — this page from Criminal made me laugh
it's crazy to see my style/skill evolving through the first pages of the first the gobbo parts (i actually love the first page i think it's kinda gorgeous like i don't even know how i did that, the second page i like but don't love, and the third page i'm really proud of i really like how it turned out) sneak peak of part 3 which posts in less than an hour!
The first two pages of part three are fully inked and I'm started on the third! Definitely a little slower this issue, but I'm still hopeful about meeting my Wednesday evening deadline! Here's a sneak peak at my favorite panels so far (REALLY HAPPY WITH THE LIZARD MONSTER, this is my first time trying my hand at creature design, this is just a sneak peak of her but I'm really excited for the full reveal)
I also love drawing Gobbo's terrifying teeth, still mailing down exactly how monstrous they should look I'm partial to the teeth on the right but they might be a little much for a goblin, more like orc teeth
Yesterday, I finished inking the rest of the panels for the monday short, and today I finished them! Since Cyan has been the main character of these shorts, I decided it made sense to call them Cyan Shorts instead of Gobbo Shorts, so I've gone back and changed that! so now every character could have their own volume of shorts which I really like! here is a sneak peak of the next cyan short coming out on monday!
also, i finished the first draft of my short story, and I really like it! i can't wait to share it with y'all, but here's a sneak peak while we wait!

Spent a few more hours at the library today! Really can't recommend doing that enough: did some reading and got some work done on Gobbo Short #4!
I think I'm going to draw each of the panels on their own page going forward, I think it'll be better for clarity, here's a sneak peak of the flats for panel one and the sketch for panel three!
Ended up checking out way more books than last time 😅
Still working through the Kirby book, but really excited for the rest of the haul. I finished Way of the House Husband vol 2 at the library, and I think I'll bring vol 3 to read during my breaks - lmk if you've read any of these or if you have recommendations!
Also got a lot of good work done on the proof of concept short story I mentioned before!
Wednesday update! Got the final page of the next Thursday release digitally sketched and sketched the next page for Charnel my wip horror webtoon!
Also started working on a proof of concept short story for the project my friends and I are starting work on!
Was feeling lazy today, but I persisted and sketched the next page! Made some changes from my thumbnails and I like it a lot!
Also started spit balling ideas for a project with some friends that I'm really excited about!
