What Motivates you before going to a Show? . . #repost from @laineyea - I know the old adage is to never look back into the past but I think a little reflection is a good thing. Often times before a big international as a mental prep I watch past XC rides of myself on #GoAlGo to motivate me to get back to where I want to be again. Others have tattoos or mementoes that travel with them as a reflection and a reminder of greatness they have achieved and will achieve once more. It’s easy to begin to question ourselves even after we’ve achieved success especially if it has not happened on our “own” timeline. So when you feel like you’re stuck in a valley with no end in sight know that it is OK to sometimes turn around to look back and peer at the mountains you’ve crossed to wind up to the point that you are now. And best of all? No one can take those brilliant peaks away from you! Reflect, envision, persevere, pursue.
