Authors note: Ahhh, sorry this took a while to get out, I don’t know much about dogs getting sick so I did research and I was trying to find a good way to end the story! As for the school thing in this, most of my stories with alive!Lewis will be set when they were still going to school, getting ready to graduate! I hope that you guys liked this!

Arthur walked into the room, carrying Mystery with him,”Guys, I think something is wrong with Mystery.. usually, when I say lets go play outside, he get’s really happy and bounds for the door, but he didn’t do that today, instead, he just curled up tighter on the bed and whimpered.”

Vivi looked up from the game she and Lewis were playing before pausing it and getting up, going over to where Arthur sat down. She sat next to him and pet the spotted dog,”I am sure he will be okay Arthur, he probably just ate something bad last night when we gave him a few scraps.”

Arthur was scratching behind the dogs ears, worry etched into his features,”I-I hope so, I don’t wa-want anything bad happening to him..I love him so much..”he cracked a small smile on his face when Mystery’s tail wagged ever so slightly at his words.

“I’ll get him some water, maybe that will help him feel a little better.”Lewis had been listening, but now that he understood the situation he had decided to speak up. He got up and headed to the kitchen after receiving a small nod from Vivi and Arthur.

“Hey, buddy.. Can you motion to where you’re hurting?”Vivi asked, watching as the dog weakly lifted his head and nudged his stomach carefully as to not upset it any further than it already was,”Aww, poor guy, don’t worry Mystery, we are gonna make sure that you feel better really soon!”

Arthur smiled and glanced up as Lewis came back with a bowl of water,”Thanks Lewi.”he thanked the other and took the bowl, lowering it down so that Mystery could drink from it,”Here buddy, have a drink of water, maybe that will help you.”He watched as his dog weakly lifted his head and lap at the water, whimpering and shaking,”It’s okay buddy, everything is gonna be fine..”

Lewis crouched down in front of Mystery and placed a hand on his side, lightly pressing down to see how the dog would react. He wanted to see if he could find out what was wrong with their companion. He felt a small rumbling and frowned, glancing at the canine, who had stopped drinking the water. He noticed that Mystery looked a little queasy and gently picked him up from Arthur’s lap,”Let’s take him outside, maybe he has to get something out of his system..”

Arthur and Vivi nodded, getting up and heading outside, watching as Lewis set Mystery down on the grass and taking a few steps back to let the dog have his room. Lewis walked back over to where Vivi and Arthur were,” Let’s go inside for a few moments and just keep an eye on him from in there, that way if he needs to do anything by himself..”Lewis ushered them into the house, glancing back at Mystery, who looked like he was heaving something up.

Lewis walked in and closed the door behind him, sighing as he leaned against the wall,”What did you guys feed him last night?”he questioned with a cocked eyebrow. Lewis hadn't been home, instead, he had been attending one of the school football games.

“C-chicken scraps..”Arthur looked sheepish, shuffling his feet on the floor,”I-I didn’t think that he would get sick from them..”

“Was there bones in the chicken, Arthur?”

It took a moment for Arthur to realize his mistake,”I-I thought dogs ate bones tho?! He won’t die from it will he? Oh god, I don’t wanna lose M-Mystery!””the blonde looked panicked until Lewis gripped his shoulders.

“Arthur, calm down, you’re getting yourself worked up. I am sure he will be fine..”Lewis glanced at the door just as Mystery started scratching at it. The bigger of the three went over to the door and opened it, looking down at Mystery. The dog dropped a bone down off to the side and barked, his tail wagging now. Lewis grinned and stepped to the side,”Yeah, I think it was a bone that was upsetting Mystery’s stomach.”He watched as the dog bounded up to Arthur, who fell to his knees and hugged the dog.

“I’m so sorry, Mystery..”He apologized, holding the dog close to him. Mystery just barked in response and wagged his tail harder, licking at Arthur’s face. Arthur looked up at Vivi and Lewis,”Thanks guys, I really wouldn’t have known how to help him without you guys..”he picked Mystery up and smiled at the two, who returned the happy gesture.

“We wouldn’t just let Mystery die like that, so of course we are gonna help you out with taking care of Mystery if he is sick!”Vivi hugged Arthur and Mystery, kissing the dog on the cheek and recieving a lick to the face in return.

Lewis joined in on the hug,” We all stick together, trust me, If one of us is sick, we are definitlely going to work together to make each other feel better, cause that is what friends do.”

“You know what we should do? I think we should go to the dog park today, I think we could all use the fresh air. Mystery barked in agreement, his tail wagging rapidly.

“That sounds like a great idea, Lew-Lew!”Vivi giggled as Mystery squirmed in Arthur’s arms until the blonde put the dog down,”I think we could all use some fresh air, we have been inside all week!”
