I sometimes feel bad for the amount of effort I put into World of Warcraft because the things I do feel like fucking around and not working, but today, I was approached by two people for potential commissions, one of which was because of an event Iām attending/creating promotional material for, so.
Marketing.
Marketing really is a job that doesnāt feel like a job, but as an independent artist, I really need to do. (The other potential commission was because a friend who does Twitch streaming needs to update their branding, so. MARKETING)
If only it were this easy to create marketing materials for my Patreon and Commissions. It might be. Or it might be that I just need to do MORE of it. I watched a video on youtubers and their various calls to action last night, I think part of my problem is that I donāt do a lot of that because I get anxious about being obnoxious. But not gonna lie, this train of thought looks like a great place to throw down a plug:

I really was just thinking about how Iāve beenĀ āproductiveā today, but only really regarding things that superficially donāt seem to matter. But, itās stuff thatāll get eyes on me and my artwork, so. Thatās really what matters. Just wish I could get paid for making my own marketing materials.
