January 25th 2018. That’s the date that marked the beginning of the end. You have spent an amazing day hanging around with your brother and your longtime crush, enjoying the little fair that has been mounted on the promenade for the last week like if you were kids. And once the sun starts to fall, your brother decides to give you some alone time with your crush, making the night even better for him to finally confess his feelings for you.
You swore to your older brother who patiently waited for you at home and was now curiously listening to your story that night was the best night of your life so far. Everything was so perfect and for the first time in a long time, you didn’t regret moving together with your brother. But perfection does not exist, and all the happiness fades away with a simple bomb.
The night that started as the most beautiful dream you have ever had, suddenly turned into your worst nightmare as your brother asked you to stay inside the house while he checked the outsides, trying to find a coherent explanation for the explosion you have both heard in the middle of the night.
Now, three years later, you find yourself in the middle of an apocalypse caused by the nuclear explosion that took place that night because of a small leak in the nuclear station of the city. A virus has taken over humanity and now you all tried your best to survive. But unfortunately, in one of those times you, your brother and Bomin went out to get some food and water, one of them bit you, leaving a terrible wound on your arm and, what was worse, infecting you.
You’ll have to stay strong if you want to survive and you’ll have to do inhumane things if you want your heart to keep beating before you become one of them. But having in your way 6 other boys that are also looking for a solution and that doesn’t want you around will make everything more difficult. Will Bomin be able to kill you and end your suffering? Or will he be able to find the vaccine before you become dead alive?

Jaehyun and his girlfriend argued over his absence at the first dinner with her parents. She felt miserable because of her parents making fun of her. Jaehyun felt sorry, but he had to stay in practice for longer. He was lying on the bed, waiting for Y/N, who was still in the bathroom. When she walked into the bedroom, she didn't even look at him.
"Baby, are you okay?" he asked softly. She didn't say anything.
"Were your parents mad that I can't come?" he tried and asked her another question. She didn't even answer that all she did was laying on the bed.
"Baby?" Jaehyun tried to hug her from behind.
"I'm fine. Stop asking and let me sleep," Y/N said coldly, removing his arms from her body.
"I am so sorry, baby, but, Daeyeol didn't want to let us go until we made a mistake. I tried my best, but others made mistakes," he laid on his back.
"Okay, but come in time for the next one. Good night," she said in a tired tone.
"I will. I promise you. So can I cuddle you, now?" Jaehyun’s face blushed, though it was not visible in the darkness of the room. Y/N turned her side to face him and cuddle him.
After the success of 'Burn It' MV Golden Child is back to bring a brand new serie written and directed by Key which will be aired on Tumblr Oct 31st 2021.
We will now introduce the official casting, counting with the members and Choi (Y/N), the girl acting on the MV.
Lee Daeyeol
This time Daeyeol will be playing the role of Jangjun’s older brother. He has had a happy life surrounded by family and friends (Seungmin, Jibeom and Donghyun) and when a zombie apocalypse lashes the city he won’t let anybody get in their way to save his youngest friend. He doesn’t care if he has to kill someone on their way to the solution if that means saving Donghyun.
Choi Sungyoon
Sungyoon takes the role as (Y/N) older brother and Bomin’s best friend once again. He might not have a perfect friendship with his sister but he does protect her above all. He will kill absolutely anyone that tries to get rid of his sister before they find a way to save her from the bite. The perfect older brother vibe all the fans love.
Lee Jangjun
Jangjun will be Daeyeol’s younger brother who will try his best to save Donghyun as well, doesn’t matter if he has to risk his own life to do so. One of the audience’s favorite characters due to his cheerful personality even though the situation is not always the best.
Son Youngtaek (Tag)
This time, Youngtaek will be playing the role of Joochan’s adoptive older brother. They both come from an orphanage and after ages of not being selected by any family they decide to live together. As we saw on the Burn it MV, he gets bitten and now, together with (Y/N), he’ll have to survive until they can find the right solution.
Bae Seungmin
Seungmin will immerse himself in the role of a guy who loves technology, creating a radio so he and his friends can communicate while they try to find something to save Donghyun’s life before it is too late. According to some information sources, he might be one of the audience’s favorite characters along with Jangjun.
Bong Jaehyun
Jaehyun left a lot of unanswered questions after the MV so he’s back to answer all of them. A single child who loses his dad due to cancer and his mom due to the apocalypse is now the hope of the rest of the characters on their way to escape the hell they are all living in. We expect to see him playing the role of a leader trying to keep his team united.
Kim Jibeom
This time we will be able to see a completely different Jibeom. Someone who is trying his best to find a way of saving his younger brother while he tries to make him feel better with jokes before he ends up wanting to kill himself for being a burden. A perfect contrast for the funny Jibeom Goldenesses are used to see off the big screen.
Kim Donghyun
Just like Jaehyun, Donghyun leaves many unanswered questions about his health and even though fans have tried to find out good theories, he’s back to answer all the questions. According to information sources, his character suffers from a disease called congenital insensibility to pain which will make him suffer a terrible infection due to a broken bone. We’ll see a physically weak yet mentally strong Donghyun that will surprise the audience from the very beginning for sure.
Hong Joochan
This time we will see Joochan suffering more than we have ever seen him. Having to decide on Youngtaek’s life when emotions are taking over his decisions will make him and the audience have a hard time. Fortunately, we’re sure he will nail the role and make all of us enjoy the series and his character even more than we already did during the MV.
Choi Bomin
Everyone was wiped for him on the MV and he has confirmed that the fans will feel even more wiped after watching the series. The chemistry between him and (Y/N) will be even more noticeable in this series and we will be able to enjoy their story from the very beginning for a little longer. But we will also see him suffer about the decision of leaving her alive or not, making a perfect contrast between the before and after of his character.
Choi (Y/N)
Once again, we will see a stronger (Y/N) on the big screen. After being bitten by one of the zombies and after trying to give up on her life to save Bomin and Sungyoon, she’s now back to fight for her life and for the rest of her friends before she becomes dead alive.
Y/N was all alone in her apartment, cooking lunch for her, when she heard some weird noise coming from the hallway. She grabbed a frying pan and hid behind the wall, waiting. The noise approached her and she became more afraid. Her heart was beating so fast that she thought her heart would jump out of her chest. She was ready to jump out of hiding place when her boyfriend with Bongji and Bonggu came out of the hall.
"Are you crazy?! Do you know how scared I was?! I think that I had a heart attack!" she yelled at him.
"You're so cute when you're angry. But I think you should be happier to see me and our babies after a long time," Jaehyun laughed at her and gave her a kiss on the forehead.
"I'll be happier if you call me and tell me you'll be coming with our babies," she scolded him but with a smile on lips. Both of the dogs were happy to see Y/N, patting them and kissing them.
"Maybe I should bring Bongji and Bongju and left you alone. You aren't kissing me or hugging me like them," he said jealously.
"You know what? You're cute when you're jealous of your own dogs," she said, finally, kissing him too.
Insomnia had been Y/N's best friend for weeks. It all started when her boyfriend started promotions of their upcoming comeback. She was holding her phone, looking at Bomin’s photos she had when she received a message from him.

Y/N lives in a city where the mafia runs rampant. One day she saves a young man's life, not knowing that he is the mafia boss's son. Now, she has just joined the no-harm list.
The last few years in Jeonju have not been safe, especially at night. Rumors are circulating that the mafia has returned to the city and had to move abroad. But no one can remember why. One night, the young girl was returning from work a little later than usual. She was terrified of all the rumors that she was holding the keys in her purse, willing to defend herself with them. She heard someone yelling, "hide!" So she did. She hid behind the corner, crouching to the ground. Then there were shots across the street and a subsequent cry of pain. When the shooting subsided, she came out of her hiding place. A few feet in front of her lay a man moaning, holding his thigh from which blood was flowing. She rushed to him.
"Go away! It's dangerous here," the man yelled at her, but she still helped him to stand out.
"I'm a nurse. I'll treat your leg, and then you can leave," she said, wrapping her arms around his waist for better support. He didn't say a word, just wailed with a whimper as he stepped on his shot leg. Her house wasn't too far away, but he was heavier than she expected.
"It hurt so bad... you should leave me there bleed to death," his words were harsh but still in pain.
"Maybe I should have left you there, but my conscience wouldn't forgive me," she said with a lower tone, turning to the left, where was her house. Going up a few stairs to the porch was very difficult because the boy couldn't lift his leg. When they came inside the house, she led him to the couch next to the door.
"Wait here, I'll go for my first aid kit," she smiled at him with a small nod.
"I have no choice but to wait here," he said with sarcasm in his voice. The girl sighed, rolling eyes, annoyed. The first aid kit was in her kitchen, where she grabbed a bottle of vodka to clean his wound. She went back to the couch where he was resting the guy. He managed to take off his trousers, which he left lying on the ground, which was already a small puddle of blood.
"It's going to fucking hurt. Do you want a drink before that?" her eyes met his. He snatched the bottle from her hand and drank the clear liquid. He handed her the bottle again, and she pulled long tweezers from a first-aid kit, which she intended to use to pull out a bullet. She carefully poured vodka on the wound and immediately used tweezers, which she slowly grabbed by the bullet she had pulled out. He cried in pain, bitting himself in the shoulder.
"It's out. I'm going to pour some more vodka and sew the wound," she said, looking at him with a kind smile. He nodded, shutting his eyes painfully. She began to sew the wound carefully, making sure he was okay.
"I'm done. Wait here. I'll go for some wet towel to wipe all that blood from you," she stood up, running to the kitchen. She was back in a minute with a small bowl full of water and the towel in the other hand that she placed on the side table.
"I can do it myself," he scoffed. She expected thanks from him or some kind behavior. She put things back to the first aid kit and turned away, walking into the kitchen again.
"Arrogant asshole," she muttered to herself as she tried to wash the blood from her hands. She knew her cleaning work wasn't over because she had blood on the floor in the living room. She thought he would be away when she came back, but he wasn't. He was sitting there still without his pants on.
"Aish, I was hoping you would be away," she said, rolling her eyes again.
"If I'm a burden to you, you shouldn't have brought me here," his tone was sarcastic again.
"I saved your leg, maybe your life, so I was hoping you'd thank me. You're such an asshole," she shrugged.
"To be you, so I would pay attention to what you say and to whom," he folded his arms across his chest, smirking at her.
"I'm not afraid of you. I think you could go now. Your leg should be fine," she also smirked at him and waited for him to get up and leave. He put his pants on, walking to her.
"You should be more careful, baby girl," he placed his palm on her cheek.
"First of all, my name is not baby girl, but Y/N, and second, don't touch me," she tore his hand away, smirking at him.
"Nice to know your name, Y/N. I'm Jangjun," he sent her a flying kiss, leaving her house.
A few days have passed since the night she rescued him. But something was wrong. She felt as if someone was still watching her, and sometimes a big black car parked near her house. It made her anxious. Her night shift was over, and she was on her way to a bus stop. From behind, she heard footsteps following her. Her legs started to shake from how she was scared. There was no one on the street because it was late at night. She was scared to stop walking, so she decided to make a stop in a convenience store. Y/N tried to call her best friend, but he didn't pick up. She quickly took something so that the seller wouldn't think she had come to steal. She went out into the street, where she looked around and saw no one. She took a deep breath and continued on her way to the bus stop. The bus arrived just when she came. She got on so quickly, exhaling deeply.
As she approached her house, she saw the same black car as in the morning. Her footsteps immediately went to the car. She knocked on the driver's window and waited to see if anything would happen. The window went down her eyes met an older man in his forties.
"Why are you still parking here. Do you think I won't notice you? could you leave, please?" she was furious.
"I was ordered to guard your house. Just like my colleague got an order to supervise you when you leave work," he said coldly.
"What are you talking about, sir? Can I talk with your boss?" she was disappointed in his words.
"Sorry, I don't know if I can do it for you. The boss told me not to contact him," the man said, making Y/N more disappointed.
"I'll call the cops if you won't contact your boss. I'll search for my phone, so you have a few seconds to change your mind," she began rummaging in her purse, looking for a phone.
"Don't call the cops, please. I'll call him now," his tone sounded spooked. Y/N smiled triumphantly. After a few seconds, he handed his phone to her.
What's wrong, Whangchul? Did something happen to her?
Hello, I hope that your employee will be somewhere else tomorrow morning and that your other person will not be watching me either. I can call the police and report stalking.
I wouldn't involve the police. I'm just trying to protect you because I think you're in danger because of the night you saved me.
Oh. You are that Jang asshole. I'm asking you to stop watching me. I can take care of myself. Thanks, bye.

She returned the phone to the owner, determined to go home and not have to deal with anything, but the guy stopped her.
"Miss, take this. If you don't take it, I won't be able to leave," he said, handing her a piece of paper with something written on it.
"Fine, bye," she grabbed the paper and left him behind.
On a Friday night when Y/N had her day off, she heard someone walking on her porch. Then out of nowhere, someone started banging on the door. For a moment, the door seemed to breakthrough. She was in the kitchen, hiding, holding the pan in her hands like her weapon in case the guy got into her house. She was shaking in fear as the banging on the door didn't stop.
"Open the door, bitch," the man shouted, making Y/N more afraid. She noticed a piece of paper on the kitchen counter, the piece of paper with the Jangjun's number. She reached out carefully and dialed the number. After a moment of ringing, he picked it up.
Please, help me. Someone is banging on my door, shouting at me.
I'm on my way. Hide well and don't get out of here until I take care of him.
She slowly walked to the bathroom after four, where she locked herself and hid behind a towel cabinet for safety. She was hugging her knees tightly, still shaking in fear. The banging was loud because it could be heard even in the bathroom. The man shouted various vulgar words and did not stop. Then there was a shot and another scream out of nowhere. But it wasn't the scream of the man who was banging on her door. Other shots were fired, followed immediately by another shouting. Her eyes filled with tears that started to fall. Her arms let go of her knees, and her palms pressed against her ears to hear less.
"Y/N?!" Jangjun's voice shouted her name out loud. Her trembling body stood up, unlocking the bathroom door.
"Y/N?!" he shouted again, waiting for her response.
"I'm here," she sobbed, wiping her cheeks with her shirt. She came out from the bathroom, meeting Jangjun's frightened face. He ran to her, hugging her tightly. She began to cry again, not with fear, but with the joy that she would be safe now.
"Shh, it's okay, I'm here," he stroked her hair, still holding her tightly. She held him by his black sweatshirt, into which her tears soaked.
"Let's grab you some clothes. I'm taking you with me so you would be completely safe," he pulled away from her to look at her. She only nodded, walking away from him. But he followed her because he was worried about her. Everything that happened today was because of him and his family, which had a score to settle with that guy and his men. He watched as she was putting her things in a bag.
"I'm so sorry," he sighed, leaning on the doorframe.
"It's okay," she whispered, standing with her back to him.
"No, it's not. Anything bad could have happened to you. Then I would blame myself for the rest of my life. That guy owes my family a lot and acted like an asshole and got you involved," he ran his fingers through his hair. She closed the bag, putting it over her shoulder.
"I don't think you've blamed yourself all your life. After a few months, you would forget," she said with a small smile on her lips.
"Nonsense. You weren't afraid to help me back then, and I don't want to sound cheesy but, I might, but I don't care. When you treated my leg, I fell in love with you. I was really grateful that you didn't let me lie in pain on that street. That's why I hired a couple of my men to keep an eye on you," he came closer to her and took her hand, which he pressed lightly in his. Her cheeks blushed hard after those words.
"I should apologize for the nasty words I told you, and thank you for everything you have done for me," she came closer to him.
"I promise I'll watch you better now so that nothing happens to you," he smiled brightly at her. She buried her face in his chest, and his arms hugged her and kissed the top of her head.
The mornings when two people in love waking up next to each other are the best thing that could ever happen. Y/N had been awake for a few minutes, looking at the sleeping Joochan lovingly. His bare face was so beautiful. She ran her fingers carefully through his hair, smiling when he opened his eyes.
"Good morning, sweetie," he whispered to her.
"Good morning, Joo. Can I tell you something?" she giggled, moving closer to him.
"What?" Joochan looked at her, surprised.
"You're the most beautiful thing I've ever seen, Joo," she blushed, hiding her face under the blanket.
"And you are the most precious human I've ever know," he uncovered a blanket from her, smiling like an angel.
"And you're so cute when you are looking at me and smiling like an angel," she continued with her compliments.
"Can an angel kiss you?" Joochan made puppy eyes at his girlfriend, which began to blush. She kissed him instead of answering his question.
Bomin's parents were curious about their son's girlfriend, with whom he had been for a few months. Y/N was very nervous because it was her very first dinner with her boyfriend's parents. After all, she never had a chance because Bomin was her first boyfriend.
"Don't be nervous. They're nice and won't bite you," Bomin held her hand, joking.
"What if they won't like me? " Y/N looked at him with wide eyes full of nervousness.
"Stop talking nonsense. Believe me or not, they will love you," he kissed her hand. After a few minutes by bus, they arrived at Yongin, where his parents lived. After getting off the bus, they walked hand in hand for about 10 minutes before arriving in front of the house where dinner was to take place. Y/N froze in place.
"I know it's too late to ask if we could come another ti-me, right?" Y/N's voice cracked at the end.
"I think so. Take a deep breath, and let's go inside," Bomin stood in front of her and looked into her eyes. She did as he told her.
"Okay, let's go!" she tried to sound more happy than nervous. His gummy smile appeared on his cute face, which she loved very much. They had just entered the hall, where they had taken off their shoes, and his mother immediately ran up to them.
"Hello, mom, where's dad?" he asked his mom, kissing her cheek.
"He's upstairs, will be there in a minute," she hugged her son with a bright smile on her lips.
"Mom, this is Y/N, Y/N, my mom," Bomin introduced them. Y/N smiled kindly at her while she held out her hand.
"Nice to finally see you, Y/N. Aigo. He didn't lie about you. You're beautiful," Bomin's mom examined her from head to toe. Y/N's cheeks began to blush quickly.
"Thank you, Mrs. Choi," Y/N said shyly.
"We shouldn't stand here. Let's go to the kitchen. I'll go get dad and wait on us, please."
