I know sports is business (as if this trade didn’t hanmer that point home!) but I really appreciate Ron acknowledging the timing and talking to Will about it. As much as it blindsided us, it appears Will knew it was going to happen and was prepared. And even though I might sometimes find GMRF’s decisions puzzling, I strongly feel like these actions set the tone for the organization and it makes me feel emotionally better about the situation. Compared to Drury’s (NYR GM) behavior, this is so much more professional and human and I vastly prefer it!!
