Sukho Thai Restaurant
Hello All,
My daughter and I were out and about on College Ave, Rockridge neighborhood in Oakland,CA  We decided to try this new Thai place called Sukho Thai http://sukhothaiusa.com for dinner.  Nice ambience, roomy tables, and sort of a large menu. They also have a nice size Gluten free menu and are very accommodating for people with food restrictions/allergies.  I started out with their Tom Kha Chicken soup (Coconut milk soup with Thai herbs and mushrooms $6.00)  My daughter ordered hot, green tea and Chicken Satay, herbed chicken breast on skewer, grilled and served with peanut sauce and cucumber salad $8.00.  The skewers where a hearty portion.  For my entree I ordered the Beef Salad,Sliced grilled beef mixed with Thai herbs and ground roasted rice, seasoned with lime dressing $10.00.Â
Unfortunatley, I was very displeased with my beef salad. Â The beef was hard and chewy, as if I was chewing on a leather belt, but the rest of the salad was just "OK". Â The staff was nice, but if you are on any kind of time schedule do not come here. Â Street parking only. Â I was however impressed with the number of items that they offer gluten free.
