7 Day Detox Challange
Need a mind/body/soul detox prior to this upcoming trip and really should be doing this more often. I encourage you to do so too, to allow yourself to reset prior to going into the next thing in your life. You’ll have more clarity, motivation/inspiration, joy and overall just feel better.
The key is to start with simple little things because let’s be real, trying to completely cut everything that doesn’t serve you at once can be too harsh and sometimes even a disaster. Then you end up just being disappointed in yourself. Find little tweaks you can make here and there.
Here’s my detox:
✨ Mind: log out of social media/delete apps to discourage comparison between myself and others, to free my mind of unnecessary purchases, and to encourage me to seek knowledge rather than aimlessly scrolling.
✨Body: work out and do deep stretch every day with the exception of 1-2 “rest days”, limit dairy/meat consumption to one meal per day if possible, cut out sweet treats, take vitamins/ probiotics and drink more water of course.
✨Soul: Meditate every night, cut our negative comments about my appearance, stop engaging in negative news/conversations, and do things that to express my creativity.
Make sure to also journal or keep track of the journey each day. It is a challenge and really, the challenging part of it is not necessarily doing these things, it’s staying on track and being focused. Remember that most things in life are more mental than they are physical.
