#glorious stride

Tesset and Ikki are both Ruuna’s Bastards, an umbrella term for the hundreds of monster species created during the war, then left to their own devices after the death of their creator, Heartless Ruuna.

It’s been 30 years since the war, so a lot of Bastard species are into their second generation or more. Life isn’t exactly easy for them, and it’s probably going to be a long time before they’re viewed without distrust and suspicion.

Ikki, the bird girl, is from a tiny and isolated treetop village, and has spent the last few sessions of the game learning that the hard way.

Today, my players fought a dexterous grasshopper man with a can-do attitude.

He escaped by hitting them point blank in the face with a wand of wonder and vanishing into a cloud of butterflies, which leave me free to finish this drawing at some point, then have him return, with even snazzier pants, and even cheesier pick up lines.

Inktober day 1.

So, full blooded elves in The Glorious Stride are called Taman, and they basically resemble deep sea angler fish.

The Taman have their leaderless empire to the north of The Four-And-Some, where they dwell in their vast subterranean caverns, speaking silently in glimpses of light and colour.
