In Bespoke Witch, Lucius and Draco are presented to the world as father and son. However, it comes out in the course of the story that Lucius and his father, Abraxas, were both married to Narcissa (who is painted rather negatively) in a traditional โhouse marriage,โ and she was involved more with Abraxas than with Lucius. For this reason, Lucius believes that he is biologically Dracoโs half brother and not his father. Narcissa died when Draco was a baby, as did Abraxas, and Lucius raised Draco.ย
Soโฆ are they father and son or are they brothers? Well, it could go either way. Lucius believes that theyโre brothers and Draco goes along with this, but Lucius has raised Draco as a son, and because Draco was born from a โhouse marriageโ in which Lucius was one of the husbands, Draco is considered the heir.ย
