🌀 TESTING… TESTING… 🌀 The Interpreter: CRT sync test no. 001
Three CRTs flicker into life. Signal confirmed on the Alba PTV-12 after some stubborn coax resurrection, routed through VHS pass-through like CPR for old tech. Waveform monitor and first oscilloscope pulsing along—second scope awaiting a non-standard BNC adapter to join the chorus.
Everything held together by adapters, instinct, and a maybe-misconfigured PSU. (Glitchy sync flicker could be a ‘problem’ or a feature—leaning into the latter.) Ordered a US-to-UK converter to try original PSU… but honestly? This haunted, stuttering boot feels like Tetsuo meeting Videodrome.
A system learning to speak. Not with words, but with voltage, distortion, light.
