Call Me Pretty - Susannah Joffe
Lil something that's been sitting in my drafts for months, like since october/november when the brain worms for wednesday were rampant.
Tyler Galpin x Addams!Reader. 706 words. Might be ooc⊠Uhhhhh Enjoy?
âHold still,â You murmur, holding a wet rag in your hand as you move over to his sitting form. âIâd prefer you not get blood everywhere, on my bed, especially.â You continue, standing between his legs and gently tilting his head up, as you start to clean him up.
Tyler wasnât entirely sure why he came to you. After all, you had every reason to turn him away, or kill him, even, for what he did to you, and to your family and friends. But upon opening your dorm window and seeing his pitiful, wounded self, you simply tugged him inside and went to get supplies. Maybe itâs because he has nowhere to go, or maybe itâs because he needs you. Your previous relationship, if you could even call it that, wasnât entirely fake. Sure, Gates told him to find a way to keep an eye on you and your sister, but... She never told him to fall for you.
Well, she was dead now anyway. He made sure of that.
âWhy are you helping me?â Tyler quietly asks, gaze stuck on your face, enraptured almost. Your touch paused momentarily before you resumed cleaning up the scratches and cuts on his face.
â... I donât know,â You answer, eyebrows furrowing just slightly as you try to decipher why yourself. âWhy did you come here?â You ask in return.
âI donât know,â He mimicks, swallowing softly at your gentle touch. He didnât deserve it. It was quiet for a while; whether the silence was uncomfortable or not was hard to tell. But heâd take what he could get; it was a strange miracle you even let him in, in the first place.
âHowâd you even get out of Willow Hill?â You question, hand cupping his jaw as you press a bit too hard on a cut, the only indication that he felt it was a sharp intake of breath. You donât apologise, and he doesnât want you to.
âThere was some type of breach... Thornhill broke out, and then came to let me out.â Tyler answers after a moment, fingers flexing unconsciously. You hum in acknowledgement, gaze flicking down to his briefly. âI turned, and then I killed her. And got the fuck out of there.â He says lowly, watching your head tilt.
âYouâll die without a master, you know that, yes?â You raise an eyebrow, your hands slowly retreating, and he canât help himself when his own hands shoot out to keep your touch on him.
âI know... I donât care, I was tired of being under her thumb, of what she... did to me. And I was tired of pretending that I didnât need you.â Tyler mumbles, leaning into your hold on his jaw, moving it to cup his cheek.
âNeed me,â You quietly repeat, gaze flickering over his face as you swallow thickly.
âYeah. Want you, need you, fucking crave you... Everything quietens with you, makes me feel like Iâm not going crazy,â He admits, feeling your fingers twitch. âI know I fucked up, and I know I canât fix it. But that doesnât change what I feel for you.â
You stay silent, simply watching him. He tenses instinctively, expecting a hit or harsh words; instead, he receives a soft, barely there kiss to his lips. Tyler tries not to melt into it, feeling your lips on his after so, so long being deprived of them, but he does, ever so slightly. Although you pull away soon enough, too soon, he thinks, to observe him again.
âYouâre fucked in the head, but... Itâs somehow fine when itâs you,â You murmur, and his body seems to relax. âNow. Do you want to try to achieve forgiveness?â You tilt your head, thumb caressing his cheek.
âHow?â Tyler swallows, eyebrows furrowing as he looks up at you.
âWell, first, we need to figure out a way to make sure you donât die,â You say, gaze moving as you think about it. Something deep inside him whines at the loss of your attention, and he canât tell if he hates it or not. But he does know that heâd do whatever it takes to get back in your good graces, or as close as he can get.
