I timed this afternoon's walk to coincide with the passing of the cold front and the banishing of all that mild grey filth southwards......and emerged onto Lendrick Hill at the perfect moment to see......SUNSHINE!!!!! I hung around up there for ages simply because it was COLD!!! Gawd it felt amazing. Welcome back, autumn!!!!Â

Proper windy in the Ochils today, and if you were sitting around then it felt soooooo nice to be able to wear a nice warm woolly hat again! A wee jaunt up Lendrick Hill to get the legs moving again after a couple of weeks of relative inactivity.
The cold continues....but so does lockdown. With big hills still off-bounds I return to my new favourite local playground, Dunning Glen, for the fifth time in seven weeks. This was a slow but snowy reprise of the autumnal walk I did just a couple of months earlier up Lendrick Hill and down into deepest darkest Kinross. I'm really starting to love this part of the country!
Oh and btw I didn't actually plan on doing a vlog while I was out, so I didn't have my external mic and that means I've added a few subtitles for when the wind noise got a bit much. Bear with me! :)
In a normal November I wouldn't have hesitated in whizzing off to see the snow up north, but Fife's in Tier 3 of Covid restrictions and the big hills are off limits, so November adventures had to be taken closer to home. It was time to get creative in my back yard, so I popped five miles next door into Kinross and was very glad I did, thank you very much! ;-)
