| Insecurity | ๐1 Peter 5:8 ๐ | Insecurities creep up in our hearts and minds daily, hourly, and even by the minute. ๐Insecurity is feeling vulnerable or inferior about yourself or life circumstances. ๐1 Peter 5:8 teaches us to stand guard... "Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour." The devil likes to torture our minds, likes to play on those people/situations that are most precious to us and create doubt, fear, anxiety, worry, insecurity... and the list goes on. ๐๐ฝOur insecurities allow an open door for the enemy to come in and have a field day. ๐กIn times like these I hold onto this gem- Philippians 4: 6-9 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirableโif anything is excellent or praiseworthyโthink about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in meโput it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you." ๐๐ Tonight I'm praying my insecurities away.
