“ED” the Devon and Cornwall Longwool Ram. Another of my bronzes on show as part of the @gladwellsart Summer Collection exhibition, which runs until July 20th in their gallery at 5 Beauchamp Place, Knightsbridge, London. This little portrait is in complete contrast to the split second action of the Grebe, in my previous post. This time it is all about those wonderful curly locks! The second photo shows a bare bronze cast, prior to patination. I plan to sculpt another ram, with a coat similar to this, but keep the finish polished, lacquered, golden bronze, thinking about the legend of Jason and the Golden Fleece.
