He shut the book, frowning.

re: the conversation about realizing out-of-reach customs are playing by different rules: Once I was looking at a channel of those realistic portrait-style Barbie repaints. I watched a video they posted and realized that they were using oil paints and definitely had an "ooooooh" moment.
Yeah, like some of those methods are actively damaging the doll and you probably could never get the same effects with the water based materials so... heh.

I read on the MSC reviews on Amazon that Testor’s...
I only got a (half, old, from a friend) can of MSC recently and honestly my sealed dolls going shiny/sticky seems dependent mostly on brand. Most Mattel is fine, Volks vinyl went sticky, Liv went HELLA sticky. This is with ZM mostly.
What’s funny about that is that my old Dollfie painted with old fomula MSC around 2005 are doing fine.
The new formula doesn’t seem to be keeping as well, but it was changed for health or environmental reasons that I don’t remember, which is for the best, I guess.
