renew is a little bastard who does Not deal with grief well at all ; in this au he'd take place of darryl where he buys like 50 pounds of this banned magic putty to recreate someone who was near to him

amias still dies, but in this he'd never have been named amias - due to penny not existing until renew makes her out of putty

speaking of penny (technically penny 2 here), she's new to life she has no idea what's happening and renew is not very good with putty so she's a little fucked up

she REALLY doesnt wanna be here but she has no idea how to get away from this guy or where she'd even go. renew probably keeps her in his room 24/7 away from his brother, ethan

renew in this is still a bit obssessive, personality wise he doesnt change but i think he'd take far more drastic actions in attmepting to keep penny2 here with him
