I reread Guy in Your MFA when I'm trying to get stuff done (space it out, chapter in between work sessions) because the atmosphere in the first few chapters just jives with me a whole lot. Then I hit chapter 6 and binge the rest because your writing is fucking amazing. Have to go work on my shit now. That is all. <3 <3 <3

Hi. Don’t wanna come off as rude, but I fully blame you for my current state of tiredness at work. I started Guy in your MFA yesterday and had to finish it before I went to sleep, which may have ended up being 12:30. I haven’t done this for a fic in a long time, just so you know. weirdly i don’t think any of this is even about the km. it’s about tw?? which. baffling, considering 1) i still have not received what i would consider actual hate about it, and 2) it finished updating in october. i am very confused ppl are targeting a fic that is ultimately about growth and forgiveness and healing, and lending credence to a situation many of us have endured and been hurt by, and not, yk, noncon pissplay.

Guy in your MFA- is there anything you wanted your readers to learn from reading this fic (14)
this was my first bellarke fic so i wanted the fandom to learn i existed. and also that mfas exist and they are wild. and ~literature (+ the literary community) is not nearly as pretentious as it seems. it’s mostly sad confused introverts who have a story they want to tell but no idea why they want to tell it.
aaaand i guess that it’s ok to take your time with someone when you’re in love, and it’s okay to wait until you’re ready.

probs bellamy pov about his rising writing career and feeling horribly exposed by the popularity of his memoir, dealing with physical distance while he goes on book tour and leads workshops and does readings while clarke’s books do well in the genre world and she has to hit up cons all over, so they basically never see each other anymore, and it’s made worse when bellamy gets a VAP at LSU maybe while clarke sells a YA series and has to live in LA to finish it up and start the screenplay. and all of this is happening while they’re trying to plan a wedding and find their way back to each other. and knowing me, it would probably end with a baby.
