Sisterhood of the travelling girl power 🤗💪🏽 So inspired by girlboss @leilajanah! Since 2008 her company @samasource has moved over 60,000 people out of poverty, by increasing their income by over 400%. Raising daily income from $2 to $8 a day is even more effective than microfinance (i.e. lending small amounts of money) in keeping people above the poverty line long term. 💸🌏 This picture is with Martha, a Samasource Kenya alumni who started out in an orphanage and changed her life for the better through Leila’s #givework initiative.
