Ça fait un bon moment désormais que j’ai dépassé les 1000 abonnés et que j’ai songé à vous faire un petit cadeau en guise de remerciement, comme je l’ai fait quand j’ai dépassé les 500 abonnés... mais comme j’ai attrapé la mononucléose, je n’étais pas vraiment assez en forme pour y penser. Je me rétablis désormais peu à peu, alors je vous dis les règles et les prix :-)

Cette fois j’ai trois livres sur la Révolution française à offrir, et en plus un livre bonus, excellent, mais qui n’a qu’un lien très ténu avec la Révolution, en ce qu’il porte en partie sur Hannah Arendt, qui a raconté, il faut bien le reconnaître, un peu n’importe quoi au sujet tant de la Révolution française que de la Révolution américaine (pour plus d’info, voir les actes du colloque Hannah Arendt, la révolution et les Droits de l’Homme)...

Bref, le premier livre que je vous propose est le mien, La République de Prieur de la Marne (2022), qui n’est pas une biographie de Prieur, mais une étude de cas sur la politique de la Convention montagnarde depuis son élaboration jusqu’à sa mise en œuvre sur le terrain, issue de ma thèse :

Le deuxième, c’est L’apprentissage de la citoyenneté de Maurice Genty (1987), une bonne introduction au mouvement populaire parisien de 1789 à 1795 :

Le troisième, c’est un peu plus technique, il s’agit de Voter, élire pendant la Révolution française (2006, 1ère édition 1999), et comme l’indique son sous-titre, c’est un “guide pour la recherche”, mais même si tu n’es pas chercheuse ou chercheur, on y apprend beaucoup de choses très intéressantes sur les élections à l’époque révolutionnaire :

Enfin, le dernier, et qui ne porte pas sur l’époque révolutionnaire, mais qui est néanmoins fascinant et très bien écrit, c’est Arendt et Heidegger. La destruction dans la pensée d’Emmanuel Faye (2020, 1ère édition 2016) :
