๐#LetThereBeLight (Portal)โจโฃ Los Angeles-based designer and art collector Megan Tagliaferri has announced a new 15,000-square-foot space called ๐๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฏ๐ฅ (@compoundlbc) dedicated to art and wellness. @megantagliaferri says: โI wanted to create a space where all aspects of a person, and community, can be nurtured...Art and wellness both have the ability to strengthen our connections and understanding of ourselves, our communities, and the world around us. Compoundโs mission is to create a space for dialogue, social justice, healing, and transformationโall anchored by the arts.โโฃ โฃ Lauri Firstenberg, the founder of @laxart, has come on board as Compoundโs curator and artistic director, and is organizing the inaugural exhibition, โChaos to Cosmos,โ which will include paintings, sculpture and photography along with video and film installations by artists such as @gisela_colon_ โs ๐๐ช๐จ๐ฉ๐ต ๐๐ฐ๐ณ๐ต๐ข๐ญ (๐๐ถ๐ฃ๐ช๐ฅ๐ช๐ถ๐ฎ) โ all works from Tagliaferriโs personal collection.
