Like seriously, it took about the whole day to find a more or less tolerable one! And I couldn't even find one which respects baseline grid, not even one! Hah!
(And just to be absolutely fair I did not invent that fine thing with “at”, I stole it from Tamás. Sorry, but it was just so damn freakingly genius way to write these two letters in a single box.)
Still haven't found “The One” by the way. Unfortunately my drawings being uploaded as “text posts” (so that I can give them titles) does not help to find a grid theme that suits my blog.
If you know one which meets the following criteria, please let me know!
I need one which...
– shows the pictures even if they're posted as “text posts”
– is strictly organized. You know what I mean. I don't like those “magazine style” grid themes
– is typographically correct tolerable
– doesn't distort the pictures
– lets me to make it comfortably mine at least a bit (I mean it lets me upload a header or at least shows my avatar)
– I have other sites so it would be cool if it gave me opportunity to have a linklist
I know, I'm too picky, but I just got used to the ability to customize almost everything on my blog. I mean, easily. I know a few about HTML but I'm really not a big wizard of it.
UPDATE: I think I find Balzac theme to be the answer to all my questions. It's beautiful, it's practical, its typo is lovely, it's everything I wanted. Plus, a grid theme that shows any kind of posts perfectly. If you're having the same problems as I did, give it a try: http://balzac-theme.tumblr.com/
