It had taken Ausra nearly all day to get ready for the fashion show she’d promised Gio. Not because she had to look perfect, though she absolutely did, but because the damn dress weighed twice what she did and getting into it was an endeavor. She’d even had to ask a maid for help, which sparked questions about why she needed to put on such an extravagant look. Thankfully though she’d easily brushed them off by simply saying she needed opinions and advice on the outfit. By the look that the maid tried to keep hidden from her, Ausra could tell she felt the same way about the over the top gown that the princess did. How people wore these kinds of things for hours on end was beyond her. Still, she’d promised him, and so, she was doing it. Complete with nails, make-up, hair extensions, and even her tiara.
It seemed like she finally had time to rest, plopped down in the middle of her floor, skirts spread out around her because she couldn’t fit on any sort of chair, she mindlessly played a game on her phone until a knock came from the door. “It’s open,” she called, not sure she had the will to stand and lift the dress quite yet. A grin spread on her face as the door opened and she looked up to see Gio. “You’re going to have to help me up, I don’t think even my powerful thighs are enough to lift this thing. ...Or you could just stand there and let me admire you from the floor, I’m okay with that too,” she added, kneading her bottom lip as she looked him over.
