     She’s lived on her own for most of her life at this point, working through holidays and other important dates has just become part of her routine. Her birthday is no exception, with her often forgetting about it altogether until her coworkers were congratulating her. This year, she is glad for only being scheduled for a single shift, the thought of maybe getting to see a certain someone later in the day lifting her spirits. Only to find him coincidentally right outside the hospital, all handsome and charming and making her heart race.
