Last week we ALL- petS included- went for a stroll. A while back I had found a carrier at thrift but hadn’t ever really used it. So #ginnyguinea joined us! This cutie gave us a good scare last weekend. Fun(ny) fact: cavies(guinea pigs) can’t fart. Saturday night #ginnyguinea came down with a bad case of bloat, wincing in pain and lethargic, and we thought she wouldn’t make it. We prayed and then googled, and @versadog found a video on how to manage bloat in guinea pigs. After Sunday full of belly massage and infant gas drops, her abdomen returned to normal size, and tho’ she had a discharge for a day or so, it stopped and she has been 100% her usual spunky self the rest of the week.
