Ginger is a plucky young lady in her mid-twenties in the big city, trying to make it in the world. She’s tired of odd jobs and wants to have the time for her hobbies and volunteer work, so she sets off interviewing rich older men to see if they’d qualify to be her sugar daddy.

Xigbar, job of corporate espionage at the boring office company of Organization XIII, happens to meet her at their favorite coffee shop, and they hit it off. After a few visits, he asks why he sees her sometimes with older men, and she tells him about her goal and interview process. He laughs and congratulates her, genuinely admiring the hustle.

Of course, he eventually gets curious, and Ginger offers to interview him to see what it’s like. Xigbar passes with flying colors, the first to do so, and both of them are flustered… and well, the rest is history.
