Soooooo, is no one going to talk about how apparently all races/species' in Forgotten Realms have breast milk? Is that just something I'm supposed to live with now? And that they all canonically have a taste? And that tieflings' breast milk tastes like cinnamon rolls? Is that something I have to incorporate into my encyclopedic knowledge of default D&D setting lore, now?
Got a pair of these ridiculous looking mirror glasses and the really stupid thing is they fucking WORK.
Like, yeah you're gonna look a little crazy wearing these, but my neck is no longer severely fucked when drawing in bed anymore.
Getting older really is just. Finding weird ways to adapt and survive. Even if they make you look or feel awkward. But you gotta do what you gotta do.
Got any Yulian art/ info dump you wanna share 👀👀👀
Aaaa I’m so glad there’s a Yulian fan out there!!!
All I’ve got is a couple sketches, but here’s a few Yulian facts:
He’s deeply in love with Derrek, the son of the mafia boss he works for, in the same way a vicious guard dog is devoted to its owner. they were raised together as kids until Derrek left for schooling, and though Yulian’s icy demeanor intensified during their time apart, those closest to him can easily tell when he has Derrek on his mind.
He has moles all over his body, and sunburns easily. Long sleeves and shade are his bffs.
He hates tying his hair up. A low, loose braid is fine but using hair ties (especially for higher ponytails) quickly gives him a headache. Unless having his hair out of the way is absolutely necessary, he always wears it loose.
If you're still taking asks, I think i got a few for ya (these can maybe double as drawing requests)!
How did Comet come to be captured by the facility he's staying in? Are the scientists cold and clinical to him? Are there any who are sympathetic but push it down because the science is more important than one impossible being's comfort?
Thank you for giving me any excuse to talk about Comet ♡♡♡
Because Comet, as his name suggests, fell to earth from the stars, his progress pre-impact was being monitored by various space programs. After landing, he was too disoriented to move, and hadn’t adjusted to earth’s atmosphere just yet. A team of researchers was already close by in hopes of finding another space rock to study, but when they instead found an immobile glowing starboy, detaining him was as simple as calling in some reinforcements and carrying his limp body back to the lab. Even if Comet had been able to move, though, he’d only gained sentience after falling from the stars. Not knowing any better, he likely would’ve gone willingly to his new home/prison.
Treatment from the scientists comes in a couple flavors. His team is fairly small - 5 people at most, for confidentiality, and all thoroughly vetted in both skill and their psychological state. No one at risk of becoming too attached to Comet is allowed on staff, and anyone who crosses that line is swiftly dealt with. That leaves the cold and clinical ones who treat him as no more or less than a test subject, and the ones who believe that whatever Comet suffer through is a worthy sacrifice because of what their research could accomplish for the world. The latter tend to be kinder to him, making him as comfortable as possible without interfering with their experiments, but there is still a detachment to their actions. The former tends to be a bit sloppier when stitching Comet up or performing physical tests on him. He heals exceptionally well after all, so they see no need for gentleness.

My partner referred to Astarion as a "Five Nights At Freddy's kid" tonight. I love them.
What are Tithe and Marú's favorite foods? Does Tithe eat meat primarily because he's a raven? Is he gonna cater to anything Marú wants to eat?
~harely <3
ooooo i don't have any specific foods in mind, but both of them grew up with pretty limited/poor diets. Tithe certainly eats a good amount of meat to keep his energy up, but his favorite food is anything warm and homemade and simple. in modern times, he'd probably be the guy whose favorite food was some well-made chicken noodle soup lol
as for Marú, his tastes are FAR more indulgent. growing up he had a bird diet with very light/bland foods so he'll salivate at the idea of a juicy steak or overly rich cake. Tithe can't cater to those exact desires, but he will bring home the occasional sweet treat for his angel when he has the means ♡
Because I'm in a horror mood lately:
If Pan and Clue were somehow transported to Silent Hill, how would they handle it? Would they face their pasts? Or would they succumb to old wounds that have never been healed?
~harley (I forgot to sign my last ask D:)
ooooo this is a stellar question
admittedly most of my silent hill knowledge comes from the movie so idk how accurate my grasp of the lore is, BUT....i think Pan is definitely on the verge of succumbing to his past at all times, trying to fight his way through with an increasing desperation. monsters are drawn to him in hoards, and he sinks deeper into his own trauma anytime he must violently defend himself. he sees the monsters as the people he hurt or killed, coming to enact their revenge.
Clue would be the one to keep him together and ultimately get them out. but Clue would probably have some big bad manifestation of his own internal guilt, and be forced apart from Pan at some point. by the end they manage to reunite, and together they would deal the final blow to Clue's monster.
