Gianni walked into the kitchen of his mother's apartment noticing his sister sitting at the kitchen table doing her homework last minute as always laughing he said “Morning Gilana,” she gave a ‘hm’ in return “Morning Gilana,” he said again a little louder even though he knew she’d heard him the first time. 

“Morning.” she said as she bowed her head back into her homework. Gianni laughed “When are you going to stop doing your homework the morning its due?” 

“Never” she retorted making Gianni chuckle. Pouring himself a coffee his smile was replaced with a deep frown when he remembered why he was there  “Where’s Giselle?” he asked as the coffee machine beeped. 

Gilana shrugged making an I dunno sound with her mouth as she frowned at her math homework.
