Its only after all the Ninja wars, all his students are safe, the village at peace and Kakashi is safe and warm in Gai's arms that the urge to bite bubbles back to the surface after many long years. Kakashi slowly nuzzles Gais shoulder while they cuddle in bed then gives Gai a long a slow bite, staying there for a moment just breathing in Gai scent

During the retirement I headcanon kakashi being a bit lovey dovey with Guy, more with soft gestures like hand on his hair or caressing his face, the silent gestures of comfort and love. While Guy shows Kakashi his loves for him verbally through things he'd sacrifice for him just to have him by his side, Kakashi is more non-verbal but Guy feels his love returned just the same 🥹💜
