Gigantoad first appeared in Final Fantasy II and have appeared in many other games since.
I haven't played Final Fantasy XV yet so I can't say if the ability relates to what they do in that game for sure, but I assume not.
I just think Gigantoads are hilarious.

So I was fighting this Gigantoad right...
And he came up with a New Recipeh!
I started choking when I backed out of Ansel and Iggy continued to announce it while the Gigantoad went into a ragdoll convulsion behind him.
It was fucking hilarious.
