@giftgvr asked: āĀ don't be afraid. i'm a friend. ā Charlie finding Chica for the first time mayhaps....
A low rumbling of warning from the voice box of the animatronic chicken whoās leg had given out. Currently a mess of a heap on the floor. It was as close to a growl the rusted mucked up metal and circuits could make.Ā
We know who our friends are, and this stranger is unknown-.

āŖ Ā -Ā Months, perhaps even years, the animatronic dancer had spent in solitude. Her form was put together... as much as they could, to resemble her former self, polished out of grime and stains. It had been the best they could do, but far from her former grace. Would she, ever? Unique. Vintage, she once heard a voice calling her. Even now she awaited there. Forgotten. Somewhere in dark and quiet where barely no other but hollow endoskeletons traversed.
So, once one did, the dancer hadn't hesitated a second to follow that tiny bit of hope, the broken melody within her, and the creaking gears could be spotted despite her efforts to follow in shadows.
ā - I thought you were leaving, weren't you? ā
Her voice echoed somewhere behind the boxes and shelves. Calm and gentle, and oh - so living.
ā - ...leave behind all that is here... the old
and broken. I hoped, you could lead the way
out. I don't know where I am. Where I came
from. But... I do not belong here, either. ā || @giftgvr
That was the danger of working in a place like this. What was the biggest reason people came here? Birthday parties. With the billions of people around the world, and the nearly-two million in Utah alone, it was someone's birthday every day. And if you weren't careful, that would diminish the significance of them all.
Jonathan had been working with this brand for several decades now. He'd seen good times and friends come and go. He'd seen multiple attempts to cover-up the past, while refusing to kill it outright. He'd seen it all, but one thing never changed. At its heart, though misused, it truly was a magical place for kids and grown-ups alike, where fantasy and fun came to life. And today was no different.
Or was it? The old technician leaned back in his office chair, gray eyes twinkling with an almost mischievous humor. Watching the cameras, waiting for one very special birthday girl to step through the doors.
And at last, she did.
Charlotte Emily. Or rather, Chuck Sylvia, as she preferred to go by, he thought to himself. But she'd always be "Charlie" to him. The light of her father's life, snuffed out too soon. But it seemed Mr. Henry was too talented to let even death steal his daughter from him. When Jonathan had learned who she was, he was taken aback, in spite of years of exposure to the unknown and incredible. Once he recovered, however, seen how she had really "grown up", so to speak, to live the life Charlie never got to, caring for people the way she would have... Jonathan knew he had to help how he could. Even if it was just a bit of stable ground to stand on every now and then. A shoulder, an ear, a hand.
"Miss Sylvia," he said over the intercom, a hint of his warm Southern accent creeping through the distortion, "please report to Parts and Services." With that, he prepared for her arrival.
When the young woman entered the room, she'd find the technician standing over a workbench. Turning at her approach, he smiled. "Henry Emily was the best boss I ever had," he said. "And you-" he hesitated, visually thinking about his next statement, before deciding to go ahead- "you were his whole world. I apologize if it's awkward, but for his sake, I couldn't let your happiest day go uncelebrated."
He stepped aside to reveal a small box sitting on the workbench, wrapped in shiny green paper with a white bow. Next to it sat one of the cupcakes the pizzeria stocked for birthday kids, with a lone candle waving in the room's air-conditioning. "Happy birthday, Charlie," Jonathan said gently.
Should she open the present, she'd find an old yellow Fredbear plush inside, the paint on its eyes slightly chipped from age, but the handsome purple bow still intact. "When you've worked here as long as I have, you pick up the occasional piece of memorabilia," he explained. "I'd like you to have him. I know he'll be in good hands."
"i'm not entirely sure if you're aware, but..." Charlie points behind the other, downwards.
"You've got a few gum wrappers stuck to your boot - it might have some gum still..."

Oh! Charlie has a gift for Jessica, it seems! It's a hot pink heart shaped box; but instead of your typical valentine's chocolates inside, it's filled with chocolate rocks.
ā Do you like it? I thought you would, sweet gift for a sweet somebody. ā her shy smile is sweet like honey, ā Happy Valentine's day. ā - @giftgvr
A warm smile as the box is gently opened, a crooked smile to full of joy to be able to fit right on her face even with the nose scrunched to make room.
Ā āOh teddy bear,I love it. .āĀ
Gently putting the box down for a moment, as she had come with something for Charlie as well. A small white box with a red heart on the front, inside lay an embroidered patch for Charlieās jacket or a pair of jeans. A familiar and well loved purple rabbit. Making patches is new to her, but Jess felt the night spent up crafting was worth it.
Ā āI figured this way, youāll always have him and in a way...me, with you.ā
