All black everything. Just some things I’ve been using. @bareminerals Translucent setting powder: it’s fine. This is a pressed powder and most of the time I use loose powder. But this is ok, and it’s silky smooth so I like that. Honestly, I never powder my face out of the house so I don’t really need a pressed version of anything. @narsissist Bronzer, still using this. @benefitcanada Badgal Bang mascara. The mascara is one to try - it gives you the darkest most black pigment and it’s definitely something I haven’t seen in cheaper mascaras which totally makes this worth it. A bottle you’ll either love or hate, and a scent I can’t stand on myself but smells gorgeous on other people. @carolinaherrera Very Good Girl. A fruity rose with a dry, clean musk base. Starts off with tarte juicy berries, almost like cranberries actually. The rose is nice and fresh, almost crunchy like an apple. And then, on me, this turns cloyingly sweet before a vetiver-musk dry down that comes hours later. There are moments when it’s a beauty and the fresh rose is a favourite note of mine, and then I gets wafts of cloying sweetness that I get from a lot of other mainstream releases. It makes my throat hurt. If your skin doesn’t sweeten things, then this is more suited for you, and a number of other people who wore this, really wore it well. So great for others, not for me. Also, a beautiful fine mist atomizer, omg, I love that so much. The prettiest blushes: Quo Glow Serum blushes that came out as part of their holiday collection. Hat tip to my friend who works @shoppersdrugmart who said that the texture and finish of these blushes is very similar to the Nars liquid blushes, and she’s absolutely right. These are water-based so they’re great for all skin types and they work on top of liquid or powder makeup. I dab on my cheeks and blend out with a little brush. It’s very easy, actually. Lasting power is 👍🏽👍🏽 and finish is natural or insta-filter, up to you. Of these 4 the only colour that didn’t work for me was the darkest pink, but every other one was so pretty.
