Saw Colony today at the NYAFF and had a Q&A with the director Yeon Sang-ho and actress Gianna Jun.
This is the same director behind Train to Busan and while I think Colony lacks some of the same emotional depth, I think it was really solid and entertaining and actually quite funny at moments. There’s a lot of world building, and zombie lore in this one and a really great female protagonist. Koo Kyo-hwan is also sooo good in this. Looking forward to watching it again!

my favourite genre of kdrama is the action/thriller/drama/mystery that shouldn't and most likely won't have a romance but the main character's chemistry is so good you can't help but want a romance plotline
