𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜  𝙩𝙝𝙚  𝙚𝙙𝙜𝙚  𝙤𝙛  her  pen  ,  meredith  hesitantly  swats  at  the  large  spider  that  crawled  onto  their  table  ,  expression  remaining  placid  .  “  it’s  just  a  harmless  spider  .  ”  without  a  second  thought  ,  she  flicks  it  off  of  their  table  with  a  swift  brush  of  her  pen  ,  sending  it  flying  to  the  other  side  of  the  cozy  corner  .  “  there  ,  all  gone  .  no  screaming  needed  .  ”

        "i  don't  see  the  point  in  blaming  the  media  for  everything.  movies  don't  create  psychos,"  faye  points  out,  languidly  leaning  her  back  against  the  booth.  glass  of  bourbon  twirling  in  her  hand  as  she  continues,  "movies  just  make  psychos  more  creative."  she  deadpans  with  a  shrug  before  bringing  the  glass  to  her  lips  to  take  a  sip.  

The town look really quiet and that worried Joel, he had more chances of bringing attention if there wasn’t many people around so he quickly made his way into a new street hoping he wouldn’t be seen, when he reached a bar memories of his brother came to him, nights the two of them would go out for drinks to talk about they crappy job, his plans to start his own business, all of that felt so far away now.

“ 𝐬𝐨 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐫 𝐧𝐨𝐭 ? jules asks as she flops onto the space next to ellie , eyes widening with excitement . in front of them is a collection of several classic games , many of which had been left over from the previous tenant of her apartment . “ i’m personally more a clue girl myself , but i’m open to all suggestions . ”

"  𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥  ,  𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬  𝐡𝐚𝐬  𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧  𝐚𝐧  𝐮𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞  𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧  𝐨𝐟  𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬  .  "  serena  glances  down  at  the  spilled  drinks  on  the  floor  ,  a  direct  result  of  her  lack  of  attention  as  she  spun  around  from  the  bar .  she  leans  over  to  grab  several  napkins  from  the  bar  ,  using  the  edge  of  her  heel  to  drag  them  across  the  pool  of  liquid  as  she  offers  hermione  a  sheepish  smile  .  “  can  i  buy  you  another  drink  ?  ”

“  𝐢  𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞  𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠  𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫.  𝐢  𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥  𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞  𝐢’𝐦  𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲  𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠  𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨  𝐦𝐲  𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲.  ”  though  bella  really  doubts  age  has  anything  to  do  it  .  if  anything,  her  immortal  transformation  may  be  the  real  cause  for  her  new  found  confidence  ,  but  she  still  likes  to  think  her  increasing  belief  in  herself  may  hold  some  responsibility  as  well  .  “  like  sarcasm  doesn’t  exactly  bode  well  for  a  six  year  old  ,  you  know  ?  ”

      "unless  material  objects  are  your  friends,"  tessa  counters.  not  that  the  brunette  didn’t  wholeheartedly  agree  with  hermione.  however,  it  wasn't  long  ago  that  tessa  believed  her  books,  and  the  characters  inside  them,  to  be  her  friends,  and  sometimes  still  does.  for  the  majority  of  her  life  they  were  the  most  important,  aside  from  nate  and  her  aunt,  in  her  life.  then  she  came  here,  and  she  made  real  friends,  and  a  whole  new  world  opened  up  for  her.  she  knows  she  can  always  count  on  her  books  to  help  in  lifting  up  her  spirits,  but  now  they  were  second  to  seeking  out  will's  comfort  or  hermione's  advice.
