If you really want something in life- accept that the odds by default are not against you. Someone will not want you to do it. Someone will want it more. Someone will want you doing something else for them. Someone may think what you’re doing is dangerous. Accept these things. Also accept that if you want to do something you can’t stand in the crossroad of yes, no, maybe. You have TWO strong legs that got you to the crossroad- don’t stop using them just because you are not sure where to go. Pick a path and follow through until you reach another fork.Doing this never guarantees any form of prosperity, no. But it guarantees that you did something, instead of nothing. By doing something you’re on a journey now. One that, and it won’t seem it, will reaffirm other things in your life. Like- who is behind you, against you or soon to be in your life. It’ll test your courage, fears, knowledge and ignorance- as well as arrogance- which will undoubtedly change come journey’s end. You’ll evolve in one way or another. For good or ill.Sometimes the Lord needs an angel with a sharp sword- so don’t be afraid to compromise or at very least give up what no longer benefits you in the form of people in your life on this journey. Angels are the good guys yes, but you’re human. You’re not held to the same standards of celestial beings, you’re going to fuck up. You’re gonna probably fuck up a lot on the way to where ever it is you’re going. This will have costs, some small and unnoticed- others damn near crippling. Don’t let them stop you, use the pain to reinforce yourself- you have the most powerful of powers that comes from the MOST human part of you- HOPE. Cling to hope. Hope that you’ll succeed but know you may not. That hope will at VERY LEAST allow you to swallow your pride when you need help and inevitably ask for it. That hope will encourage you to leave your comfort zone and explore the unknown with wide eyed wonder of a child staring at the stars for the first time. That hope will make you see the good in those who before you wouldn’t have seen anything.Never let go of Hope, Be the hero your childlike self needed, and when you want to do something but aren’t sure if you should try- remember. Your legs carry YOU. Not someone else. If you wanna find out what’s at the end of your path- start walking, don’t wait for someone to carry you to the end of their road.
