Inspired by chapter 8 of @ghostdrinkssoup​ fic “when the sword kills the pen”. If you haven’t read it already, I highly suggest you do!

Here’s a closer look at the detailing. I made a point to keep a flower motif in the design as it’s prominent in the story. The flowers on his mask and clothes are daises (symbolizing loyal love), the white ones in his hair are willows (sorrow), and the purple ones are rhododendron (danger). The clasp of his cape was made to resemble a sleeping eye but accidentally also looks like a smile which is both funny and fitting to me. Finally, the gems are all moonstones.
